Haussmann's Round Double Twist end table is hand-carved in Thailand from a single solid block of monkeypod wood. Its sculptural double twist design and individual grain make every piece unique. Choose a 14-inch round top with a 20, 23, 26, or 30-inch height and Walnut finish. Available size and finish combinations are shown above.
A solid wood side table with its own character
Use this sculptural wood accent table beside a sofa or chair, as a bedside table, or as a display pedestal for a lamp, bowl, or plant. The open twist gives the substantial solid wood form a lighter visual feel. Each piece is carved from one wood block rather than assembled from laminated boards, and arrives fully assembled.
Hand-carved monkeypod wood
The material is solid monkeypod (Samanea saman), also called rain tree and marketed in the US as acacia. Haussmann's artisans in Thailand kiln-dry, rough-shape, and hand-carve the wood. Grain, knots, natural checks, mineral streaks, and chainsaw or chisel marks vary from piece to piece. Some areas may be smoothed or repaired with wood glue mixed with sawdust during finishing.
Walnut wood finish
Walnut describes the finish color, not a different wood species. Each table is monkeypod wood finished with OSMO Wood Wax Finish. The translucent finish lets the natural grain and underlying wood tones show through, so the shade of your table will vary from the photographs.

Common questions
Is this end table real solid wood?
Yes. The Round Double Twist is hand-carved from a solid monkeypod wood block. It is not a veneer-covered table or a flat-pack kit. Wood glue mixed with sawdust may be used for repairs during finishing.
Will my table look exactly like the photographs?
The twist design and selected size and finish will match your choice. The grain, knots, natural checks, tool marks, and finished shade vary, making every table individual.
Which height should I choose?
Measure beside the sofa, chair, or bed where the table will sit. Choose the 20, 23, 26, or 30-inch height that suits your intended use. All four sizes have a 14-inch round top.
Is Walnut a different wood?
No. Walnut is a finish name on this listing. The finish is applied to solid monkeypod wood.

Care & Maintenance — how to look after this piece
Very nice piece and liked the design. There were fillers used for damage in the wood which was somewhat crude. Some chainsaw overcuts but were in not so visible location. Finish was "dry" which use of teak oil improved the condition.
Wow, I say wow factor, the quality is unbelievable, and the price made me feel guilty 😎🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 you will not be disappointed !
This was my second sculpture table. The first one was beautiful. I was not worried about ordering a second one because of that the second one arrive yesterday and it has a huge blemish on the top. But more importantly, it does not sit straight on the floor, so it looks slanted or tilted. Too expensive to mail back will not order again.
Good communication and fast shipping.
Absolutely beautiful. Makes my space cozy and perfect
Beautiful table. A piece of art!
Can't believe how fast it came and how much more beautiful it is in real life! It's perfect for my new office.
This occasional table is beautifully crafted and wonderfully sturdy. The swirl design makes it look light and airy. I love it and would buy more.
This side table is absolutely beautiful; everything I expected it to be and more. The makers clearly have a gift for working with wood. It’s solid/sturdy, and as advertised in the description. A great addition to our living room.
This makes the third table I’ve bought like this for my mountain home! Absolutely love them!!!!💜
Great purchase and beautifully done
beautiful and sturdy, perfect height
Overall the table is beautiful and arrived very quickly. However, it was packed in a box with no protection and was covered in a coating of very fine sawdust that took us over an hour to clean off with a vacuum and damp cloths. The sealant is also not applied evenly. That said, for the price and the fact that we plan to use it as a plant stand, it meets our needs and looks good in the room. Just be prepared to clean it very well before use.
Hi Diana, thank you for your honest feedback. We're glad the table meets your needs and looks great in your space. We apologize for the packing issue and will work on improving our packaging to prevent this in the future. We use a USA distribution warehouse and pay them specifically to open and inspect, wipe down with Murphy's Wood Oil prior to shipment. Thank You for sharing this with us so we can notify them of their failure to follow procedure. Enjoy your plant stand!
