Haussmann Double Twist Hand-Carved Solid Wood End Table — 12-Inch Square, 20/23/26-Inch Heights
Couldn't load pickup availability
Haussmann's Double Twist end table is hand-carved in Thailand from a single solid block of monkeypod wood. Two flowing spirals form its open sculptural base, and individual grain makes every piece unique. Choose a 12-inch square top with a 20, 23, or 26-inch height and Walnut, Oak, Mocha, or Agate Grey finish. The 20-inch size is offered in Walnut, Mocha, and Oak. The 23- and 26-inch sizes are offered in Walnut, Oak, and Agate Grey. Available combinations are shown above.
A solid wood side table with its own character
Use this sculptural wood accent table beside a sofa or chair, as a bedside table, or as a display pedestal for a lamp, bowl, or plant. The open double twist gives the substantial solid wood form a lighter visual feel. Each piece is carved from one wood block rather than assembled from laminated boards, and arrives fully assembled.
Hand-carved monkeypod wood
The material is solid monkeypod (Samanea saman), also called rain tree and marketed in the US as acacia. Haussmann's artisans in Thailand kiln-dry, rough-shape, and hand-carve the wood. Grain, knots, natural checks, mineral streaks, and chainsaw or chisel marks vary from piece to piece. Some areas may be smoothed or repaired with wood glue mixed with sawdust during finishing.
Four wood finishes
Walnut, Oak, Mocha, and Agate Grey describe the finish colors, not different wood species. Each table is monkeypod wood finished with OSMO Wood Wax Finish. The translucent finish lets the natural grain and underlying wood tones show through, so the shade of your table will vary from the photographs.

Common questions
Is this end table real solid wood?
Yes. The Double Twist is hand-carved from a solid monkeypod wood block. It is not a veneer-covered table or a flat-pack kit. Wood glue mixed with sawdust may be used for repairs during finishing.
Will my table look exactly like the photographs?
The twist design and selected size and finish will match your choice. The grain, knots, natural checks, tool marks, and finished shade vary, making every table individual.
Which height should I choose?
Measure beside the sofa, chair, or bed where the table will sit. Choose the 20, 23, or 26-inch height that suits your intended use. All three sizes have a 12 x 12-inch top.
Are Walnut and Oak different woods?
No. Walnut and Oak are finish names on this listing. Every finish is applied to solid monkeypod wood.

Care & Maintenance — how to look after this piece
Came quickly and it was packaged safely. Looks as described and from the pictures.
The item was exactly what I expected, very high quality craftsmanship, l love it!!
This is a gorgeous end table, made from a solid, heavy piece of wood. Notably, it ships in a reseller box from Thailand.
Gorgeous and adds warmth and an artsy feel to room.
One of the best purchases I've made on ETSY. The table is in keeping with my rustic but modern rustic look. It was so well made, packed and shipped: VERY professional. Not one nick or crack on the whole piece. Cannot wait to display in the new home but for the time being it will showcase some other recent ETSY and retail purchases.
I just opened these bar stools and they are absolutely GORGEOUS! I am in love with them. My husband has been showing them off to everybody haha. We had them shipped all the way to Alaska, which was a little extra, but they arrived very quickly. I needed customer service to figure out the shipping, and they were really helpful. The packaging is reinforced so they didn’t get any damage at all. I have been drooling over pretty much everything in this shop for a while. I am so happy with these stools!
Item was as described, and well packed to keep it in good condition. Great for a living room- stylish, functional.
As described beautiful!! I would definitely recommend
The most unique piece of furniture in our newly restored basement

This table is beautiful...even nicer than I had anticipated! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone...in fact, I just purchased two more! Just beautiful!
Awesome piece of furniture. I placed my amethyst cathedral atop it. Looks pretty nice in tandem.
Twist and shout, the slide never burns out.
Great side table, this is our second one
The end tables look exactly as depicted.
I made a mistake and missed the discount for ordering two at once. Didn’t see a place to enter the code when I placed the order. Please highlight that on your order for for future orders. Also is there a way to get a small bottle of the walnut oil. I live at 6000 feet with very low humidity so oiling these every couple of months will be a good idea
Cheers
Beautiful! Each one unique and great quality.
