Our carvers shape each helix by hand from a single block, coaxing the strands to rise and meet at a clean, level top. Finished in a hand rubbed oak oil with pale, honeyed tones, this piece measures 12 x 12 x 20 in H and weighs about 30 lb (14 kg). Carved from a single piece of solid wood, its grain and figure are unique to your piece, so no two are ever exactly alike. Any natural cracks, knots or tool marks are not flaws; they are proof of real solid wood, kiln dried with no chemical treatment and finished entirely by hand.
