The Stump keeps the wild character of the tree intact, a solid root form with its natural knots, hollows and live edges left to speak for themselves. No two stumps are remotely alike; each one is hand selected and hand finished. Finished in a hand rubbed oak oil with pale, honeyed tones, this piece measures 16 in dia x 20 in H and weighs about 53 lb (24 kg). Carved from a single piece of solid wood, its grain and figure are unique to your piece, so no two are ever exactly alike. Any natural cracks, knots or tool marks are not flaws; they are proof of real solid wood, kiln dried with no chemical treatment and finished entirely by hand.
